Additional clubs will be considered based on student interest and need. All clubs must have an approved purpose and must have an adult advisor from the Tuacahn High School staff as well as a constitution setting forth the purpose and guidelines of the club. EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES All performances and competitions are considered extracurricular activities. Students must be eligible to participate under the guidelines set by the Utah High School Activities Association. A student must be in attendance in class FOR ALL PERIODS ON THE DAY OF THAT PERFORMANCE OR COMPETITION IN ORDER TO BE ELEGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE. ELIGIBILITY It is expected that all students who participate in extracurricular activities and performances maintain high academic and citizenship standards. Those standards include, but are not exclusive to, the following: a) A 2.5 grade point average for the current and previous quarters; b) No major disciplinary action for the current and previous quarters; c) No N/G's for the current and previous quarters; d) Fewer than ten absences for the current and previous quarter e) In attendance at least four class periods on the day of participation; f) Positive participation in previous extracurricular activities.
